Our staff assists clients with completing and submitting Form N-400 (Application for Naturalization), ensuring all information is accurate and supported by the appropriate documentation.

Document Collection Assistance

We help applicants organize and prepare required records such as proof of permanent residency, tax documents, identification records, and other materials needed to establish eligibility.

Citizenship Interview & Exam Preparation

Clients receive support preparing for the naturalization interview and civics examination, including practice questions related to U.S. history, government, and English language proficiency.

Citizenship Classes

We offer Citizenship classes to prepare clients for the Citizenship interview. Hispanic clients are taught extensive English to pass English proficiency requirements. Albanian clients, through a staff interpreter, are also taught English to meet proficiency requirements.

Civic Participation
Empowering Citizens to Participate Fully

MISC also emphasizes civic participation for all clients seeking citizenship. Voting in elections is presented as a fundamental civic responsibility, and clients are guided through mock election ballots to help them understand the voting process. Clients are introduced to their local U.S. congressional representatives, including how to locate their offices and obtain contact information. The legislative process is also explained, including how citizens can advocate for changes in the law through the introduction of bills in Congress.

Through personalized guidance and careful preparation, MISC helps clients navigate the path to U.S. citizenship while improving the efficiency and accuracy of the application process.
