At Macomb Immigrant Service Center, family reunification remains a central part of our mission. Our team supports individuals and families through the complex family-based immigration process by offering guidance and assistance with several important services.
Alien Relative
of Status
We help U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents complete and submit Form I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative) to sponsor eligible family members such as spouses, children, parents, and siblings.
For relatives already living in the United States, we assist with the process of changing immigration status from a temporary visa to lawful permanent residency. This includes preparing Form I-485 and gathering the required supporting documentation.
When family members are located outside the U.S., our staff provides assistance with consular processing by preparing and filing the appropriate paperwork, coordinating with U.S. consulates abroad, and helping applicants prepare for visa interviews.
Through careful preparation, document support, and knowledgeable guidance, we work to help families reunite in the United States while meeting all immigration requirements and procedures.
